Cropac Equipment gains industry-leading agreement after 5-year fight

“After fighting for more than 5 years to have their union recognized, and following a very rare remedial certification from the Alberta Labour Relations Board, I’m incredibly pleased to announce workers at Cropac Equipment ratified their first ever collective agreement on July 11.
“Big thanks to IUOE 955 President, Declan Regan, Business Agent, Doug Lozeron and all Cropac members who helped lead these workers into bargaining an industry leading collective agreement.
“The end result of these negotiations clearly highlight the value of a 955 organized workplace, and we look forward to representing these members now and well into the future.
