How Do I Join?

Joining Local 955

To join IUOE Local 955 you need to work for one of our signatory employers. You can:

• Bring our union into your non-unionized workplace (organize your workplace)
• Apply for a job on our job board as a non-member
• Join our union after a signatory employer hires you

Once you work for one of our signatory employers, you can start your initiation process:

1. Submit your application
2. Pay your initiation fee
3. Work at least 350 hours for your employer (depends on collective agreement)
4. Complete your probationary period with your employer, if applicable
