Our Team

Trevor was brought on as a Business Agent with the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 955 in February 2023.

Prior to 955, Trevor spent more than 12 years working as a Union Representative for the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) in labour relations working with Collective Agreements, and more recently, occupational health and safety. While there, Trevor obtained both a Certificate and Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety and achieved Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) certification.

Before AUPE, Trevor spent 10 years working within the Alberta Government. Early in his career, he became a Job Steward and took on the role of advocating and advancing workers’ rights.

Trevor brings a high-level of passion to his role as a Business Agent. He maintains an empathetic approach to each member he deals with and works to review situations through an objective process. His commitment to Local 955 members is to be open, transparent and honest, all while demonstrating integrity.

Trevor strives to build trusting relationships with members, promising to never forget what it is like to need advice and assistance, while leaning in and supporting membership engagement. He also works to create strong and respectful relationships with employers, with the goal that doing so will help and assist IUOE 955 members and how they are treated by employers.
