This is a two day class for beginners and is held at the Budd Coutts Apprenticeship and Education Centre near Redwater. Learn machine systems, OH & S regulations and how to operate a Skid Steer. Students will be introduced to basic earthwork concepts and terms. Candidates will also find information in the owner’s manual to follow the manufacturer’s operating recommendations. Practical exercises and a theory test are used in the evaluation process. Successful students will earn a Skid Steer certificate valid for 3 years.
