The OE955 Pipelayer Certificate is an introductory training program with the purpose of developing the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of a competent pipeline workforce.
This course features both classroom instruction with practical training. Classroom sessions include a combination of online learning and face-to-face instruction where students have access to materials via dedicated Microsoft Surface tablets, printed Student Workbooks, and relevant operator manuals.
Upon successful completion of the training, pipelayer (Sideboom) operators will demonstrate safe and competent equipment operation and maintenance, in compliance with OHS standards, manufacturer guidelines, and employer specifications.
